“My question is, If it's a 3.1Gb modem but 2Gb ethernet using 1Gb ethernet port how can you get more than 1Gb? Those were all the stats listed in the product. This seems like bs marketing.”

• It is a 3.1 Docsys modem. 1GB ethernet port can only put out 1GB. 5g phone can pull more than 1gb

• Because it’s not 3.1 gig. It’s DOCSIS 3.1 standard. Which means theoretically it can process up to 10gbps download and 1 gig upload. 3.1 isn’t the published speed it’s the DOCSIS standard.
