• Technically yes. This modem is DOCSIS 3.1 compatible so it will work with 1 gig connections. However there is more to the story than just the modem. You should go to Eero FAQ or online forums to see what modems are recommended by others for stable fast gig speed connections. Also, understand that WiFi speeds will never be gigabit no matter what you do (interference, number of wifi AP’s in range of yours, number and type of connected devices, etc.). If you’re getting sub gigabit sources wired directly to the Eero, then yes, that is slower than what you should be getting. For wireless speeds… depends on too many factors.
