The G54 includes a total of 5 Ethernet ports. One 10Gbps Ethernet port and four 1Gbps Ethernet ports. You can have up to 5 hardwired connections.

There are 4-1Gigabit ports and 1-10Gigabit port. If all you need is 1Gigabit ... cable up to the four ports. But, only the 10G or 1G ports can be used at a time. I have an internal 1Gigabit lan and a 2.5 Gigabit LAN. So I run the 10G port from G54 into my Firewalla Gold router/firewall and have separate vlans for 1G and 2.5G
