I have no idea as I wanted a hard copy to transport from their home to mine and their other grandparents have an xbox as well when the kids stay over. It will tell you in description if download is avail

Yes, Xbox do offer a digital but you pay more money ($39.99)

Yes, you can buy it digital instead of physical. All systems have a harddrive (HDD) but xbox series S doesn’t have an optical disc reader. If you are asking that buying the disc gives you the digital version, the answer is no. You have to buy them separate either digital or physical
