A:AnswerNot in 4K. Caps out at 4k/60hz. This uses the HDMI 2.0 spec, not 2.1 (no adapter currently available uses 2.1 yet). So to run at 120hz, you'll need to change your resolution to 1080p or 1440p if your panel supports it.

A:AnswerBoth consoles come with HDMI 2.1, I have both, so this will work for Series X. Just like PlayStation, you can only hit 120Hz at 1080/1440, 4K will only allow 60Hz to pass through given the adapter is only a 2.0 pass through.
A:AnswerA50s still work through usb only. BUT!!!! You can't adjust game/chat with the headset buttons, forces you to adjust actual game settings audio.
