QuestionDoes it break easily?I have had a laptop break on me before, so I want to know if this Asus will break easily.

- Answer The product seems sturdy, although I haven't tried dropping it off of a two story or anything. But overall any sensitive electronic has the chance of breaking. With the lid closed it feels like it would take almost deliberate actions to break the product.

- Answer No it is not touch screen, anything CAN be converted but it likely is not worth the effort. No the keyboard is not detachable.

- Answer No sorry to say there's no DVD drive on the laptop. But you can get a external dvd drive that hook's in the USB port. And a lot of people out here today really don't use the dvd drive much no more. But me I rather use it.

QuestionWhy does this computer freeze up? I have had two that I had to return because they both froze. I had bought it to do homework at work using Word.

- Answer Rody, if you have too many things running on the computer it will start to freeze. The X205TA does have a task manager that will allow you to close out of apps you aren't using. Lastly, if you have too many web browsers opened it the unit will also freeze or lag. Keep in mind this budget laptop isn't going to handle multiple applications at the same time. You'll need to shell out a little more money for a computer with higher RAM, Memory and Processor power. Good luck! ; )
