OK, here's the official answer from this computer tech that just popped one of these open, installed a 128GB NVMe M.2 SSD into the M.2 slot (that the Asus guy said didn't exist?), wiped the eMMc drive and installed Windows 10 on the M.2. YES!! You can expand the storage using a NVMe M.2 drive and it is bootable. And sadly no, you cannot upgrade the RAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Memory cannot be upgraded, and MMC is soldered to the mainboard. However, there is an SSD expansion slot. I do not know if it is bootable though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drive is not upgradeable, the eMMC os soldered on the motherboard and no extra slot to install a SSD(Solid State Drive). The memory or RAM is soldered on the motherboard and is not upgradeable.
