• A:Answer No, but you can download Libre Office for free, and you can save your work as MS Word documents. Same for the spreadsheets. Slight learning curve, but plenty of tutorials online.

• A:Answer I bought two of these, on sale for $139.99 several weeks ago. Very pleased with the performance for this price. I put Linux Mint Cinnamon on the first one and kept Windows 11 minus S mode on the second machine. I'd choose HP printers generally, especially for any Linux operating system. I do have a Brother printer now, and I had to download the scanner driver for it for the Linux machine. But, if I were to purchase a printer again, I would go with HP for the compatibility aspect.

• A:Answer There are two usb type a ports and one type c port. So, you can use a mouse, either wired or wireless. I personally prefer using the touchpad myself. I've never felt the need for a mouse pad. There is no SD slot on this laptop.
