• There are two usb type a ports and one type c port. So, you can use a mouse, either wired or wireless. I personally prefer using the touchpad myself. I've never felt the need for a mouse pad. There is no SD slot on this laptop.

• Yes, an external USB or wireless mouse can be purchased separately, and be used with the laptop.
