It comes stock with 8GB of memory and 250GB storage, which really means you have about 6GB of usable memory and 220GB of storage due to Windows. However, it's plenty of power for the CAD work that I do. For doing high end video processing, you're going to want something with a good GPU, maybe 16GB of memory and SSD storage if you want it to run smooth. That, or consider an older model Macbook if you need editing on the go. This ASUS is otherwise a great daily driver, and you could probably get some quick and dirty video editing work done on it, if you really had to.
