“I am trying to connect a second monitor and am having zero luck. I've tried a USB C to HDMI adapter and also a USB C docking station. Each time I try to connect a monitor that way I get "Display connection might be limited". What am I doing wrong?”

• You CANNOT use a USB-C to HDMI adapter or a hub to connect video to this. It does NOT support it. This has been verified both through ASUS directly and by the icon next to the port itself, which just shows it as a generic 3.1 gen 1 port with no video capability.

• USB C is a funny animal. Not all are created equal. Some will only move data, some can only be used for power. The same is true of the cables. Be sure the cable you have is capable of doing what you need it to do. The same for the connector.
