• No, the other individual is wrong. Discrete or integrated, almost all laptop video cards can NOT be upgraded.

• The ASUS representative said you cannot. However, the video card is discrete and not "on board." Perhaps the ASUS representative is confused on the other model that is 15.6 with 128GB with 1TB HDD laptop that has an onboard video card. This system being discrete generally suggest that you can upgrade the video card. Lastly, based on the MB specs, it makes not sense why you would not be able to.
