“Can I have 1 8gb ram stick and a 16gb ram stick installed or so the ram sticks have to be the same? Also which brand of ram sticks do you guys recommend for the the asus fx505GT/SSD? THANKS”

This model comes with 2 x SO-DIMM socket for expansion, up to 32 GB SDRAM, Dual-channel. Please ensure that the RAM meets this specification: DDR4 (2666MHz). You can remove the current 8GB of RAM and then add 2x 16GB of ram in each slot to make it 32GB.
