A:AnswerAccording to what I have read you can do so but your difference in games are minimal. I do know they just came out with the new ryzen 9 and if your wanting to go with a faster processor I would look into those because they have a larger core processing speed. If you do decide that you want this computer and want to upgrade to the Ryzen 7 I would call the manufacture of the computer to verify everything. When I change anything in a computer and don't know I try the specs and if I don't get an answer I call the manufacture giving them the model off of the computer to ensure that what I am changing or adding is completely compatible with the system.
A:AnswerAs stated this laptop is not a gaming laptop, choose one that manufacture specifies for gaming You can google the latest PDF manual for this laptop, the one on the laptop is much older and not applicable to laptop with Window 10 OIS. The initial model used an older laptop. I should have mentioned that in my review.
A:AnswerI got the specifications and also checked with the Geek Squad. This Laptop has only one slot so the 8GB Chip would actually have to be replaced with one that is 16GB, kind of a waste, they should have just provided it with the 16 GB Chip and charged a little bit more.
