“Why do the reviews state the computer has 4 GB memory when it is advertised as 8 GB?”

• To my knowledge, these 512s have 4GB on-board RAM plus a single slot for upgrading. The 8GB model, for example, should have a 4GB RAM module in the DIMM slot from the distributor. If you install an 8GB module, you will then have 12GB RAM, and I believe this is expandable with up to 16GB DDR4 in the DIMM for up to 20GB maximum RAM.
