QuestionThe battery doesn't charge,......it is brand new; could it be a problem with the power cord, shows the battery as being plugged in but says not charging yet it says 99% and most of the times when I unplug it dies, but not always.

- Answer There is no keyboard backlight for this budget laptop (Asus X540L). Unfortunately, since it is considered a 'budget' laptop, missing 'deluxe' features such as a backlit keyboard is not uncommon.

- Answer Yes you can program but it will take forever to compile languages like C++. Your better off with a i7-processor for development. I use it for scripting languages like Java, Perl and Python and it works fine.

- Answer I run CS6 and it runs fine. I'm a big multi-tasker and frequently have Photoshop open along with Chrome, Quickbooks & Outlook and haven't run into any issues yet!
