• No it does not have a back lite keyboard or any lights what so ever on keyboard.

• No, but you can buy silicone keyboard covers that are brightly colored. That might help for better visibility of keys and their markings. I personally use the silicone keyboard covers to protect the keyboard from food, drink, and cat hair.
