“bought a new Asus 1555LA and when trying load a CD it says I do not have software. Really it comes with a DVD player and burner but I can't use it. And I try to open Microsoft office but it says "The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."”

• In order to play dvd's on Windows 10 you have to install an app. It's not this particular computer, it's the Windows operating system. As for the error message with Microsoft office, try resetting the computer back to factory setting.

• If it's brand new and you're getting messages like that, the first place I would go is right back where you got it & have the Techies go through it. Sounds like something got missed when software was loaded.
