Yes I agree. I just got a wireless mouse and problem solved. I never got along with the track pad a all and still don’t. I’m not sure what they did or didn’t do with it. But I just avoid it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if your finger has moisture on it. A sweaty finger will only track with about 85% accuracy. Dry finger is full accuracy. Not the best trackpad on the market - good enough though, it's fine for what I use it for - Microsoft word and internet browsing / legal research.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I will get an occasional lag/unresponsive swipe on the trackpad. It's fine if I re-place my finger briefly on it. It's a great computer overall, especially for the price, but the trackpad is probably the weakest part of it. I also have a Microsoft Type Cover 4 with the glass trackpad, which is the best I've ever used, so the Asus is not at that level.
