No, I have an SSD drive that the programs are run on all data is stored in the cloud. If you use only the Hard Drive that comes with it, then you might have noise as it powers up and runs and when there are large chunks of data that is being read or written to the hard drive. Sorry not to be much help! I will say that this computer is one of the fastest that I have ever seen. I don't think you will go wrong with this purchase. I have been very pleased with its performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can hear the fan. I wouldn't say it is loud, just a little whir. The body is also flexible. The "0" key is small on the number pad so that takes some getting used to if you ten key.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, when I fire up Doom, the fans go crazy (I've heard louder, but it's certainly not quiet). Still gets pretty hot too. I'm playing it on Ultra settings and getting 75 FPS though. For me, it's totally worth it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sounds normal when you are just browsing, but yes, when you play games it can get a little loud. I heard this when I was playing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands on high and it was noticeable, but not an issue. A simple cooling pad with decent fans fixed this for me, the pad was like $20 so it wasn't that expensive.
