I have a Microsoft Surface that has 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD drive. Very fast and very quite. I would talk to the Best Buy Geek Squad for their suggestions on what Ram you could use to update. The updates you want will be much improvement to the laptop but be prepared for it to be a bit expensive.
