I have no experience with Asus' customer service. If you are accident prone, or have any reason to be concerned about your equipment, check out the manufacturer's warranty before you buy the unit. In my experience, the GEEK Squad does a good job dealing with whatever problems may arise. My Asus laptop has performed perfectly so far, but if I get in a bind, I'll go to them before I contact the manufacturer. Accident insurance is always a good idea if your unit is a constant companion.
