• There are 7 screws that hold the back on. Once removed, you have access to the SSD. You can replace it with a standard SSD. I just purchased a 1TB SSD to replace my 256GB SSD.

• Yes, the SSD is upgradeable into a M.2 SATA, The back cover can easily be opened if you are hardware savvy.
