“I've had this laptop for a few days, and overall think it's great. However, the fan seems to be fairly loud. My wife even made a comment from about 10 yards away. The laptop is warm, but the fan sound is borderline annoying. Any help???”

It is likely just going thru the updates and indexing of all your files. Be Patient! It will cool off and quiet down. This is a great laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve had my ASUS Q325UA-BI7T computer for a month. Mine is quiet and I’ve never heard the fan. I’m an engineer and mine gets pretty heavy use both plugged in and on construction sites. It gets warm but never hot. I would suggest you have it serviced or replaced.
