“Having trouble swapping the HDD for a SSD the solid state drive is already cloned and we have opened the case, the problem is with the small ribbon cables. How do you disconnect them to be able to access the HDD? Thank you!!!”

I opened the top face plate to look inside. The ribbon cables can be disconnected by flip the small tab to release. However, 2 or 3 of the ribbons are glued down partially and I am comfortable to peel them off. If you have a small/short screw driver, I think you can remove 3 HDD case screws without undo the ribbon cables.
