• They make a similar model with both CPU's. However this model "Q534UX" is for certain the 7500U. Some models like the "Q534UQ" have the 6500U in it. Honestly there is very little difference between those two CPUs anyway, I would not let that stop you from a good deal, or better GPU, drives or memory etc.

• I just picked this one up, an it is an i7-7500u. Dual core with hyperthreading. It performs pretty well considering its only dual core, due to 4mb cache and high clock rate.
