I was confused by this as well. I do not see any physical finger print reader on my laptop. I went through ASUS's website and seen they did advertise this as having one. From what I can tell it uses the camera to "read" your fingerprint or face for windows hello. Here is a quote from ASUS "It can even recognize a fingerprint and your face by infrared camera, making it the perfect companion for instant login via Windows Hello." That text was near the fingerprint reader logo.
