Please try again later.Without holding function press the f7 key, you have three levels of brightness so you will see a symbol of a keyboard with light 1 ( touch ) is the lowest two is medium and three is the highest I recommend keeping it on 3 all the time it shuts off by itself after no use in about a minute. And comes right back on as soon as you even move a mouse or touch a key This is a fantastic laptop
