I purchased this for my daughter who has epilepsy. And the adjustments this monitor has is as good as I have seen. It's refresh rate is amazing. And have no problem with adjusting brightness or any other adjustments on this monitor. It's a great investment. This is my second one I have purchased. I bought my son one a few years ago. And this newer one has so much more capabilities then the one just like it I purchased about two years ago now. I was amazed how much the technology changed in this new one compared to the same one from then.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The monitor does have some amazing light bleed when you turn it on, but after a few minutes this subsides. There are 3 settings for adjusting the blue light for sensitive eyes. It is a bright monitor out of the box but all of this can be corrected within the settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it can be changed but it doesn't do much at all...if you have sensitive eyes don't get it....dont have a recommendation of another one sorry
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never had any problems with the brightness of the monitor. I use it for gaming so I have it set to "Game Mode" when in use and have never thought about changing any of the settings other than the volume from time to time. However, the brightness notably changes when you switch the Video Mode from "Game Mode" to anything else so I am sure the brightness is able to be manually adjusted as well (I just have never found it necessary personally).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can lower it quite a bit. I like mine high so its on 80 but if I lower it to 50 it gets dark....cant imagine if I went lower. If you buy the monitor then go search for color profiles online and you will come to a reddit thread with links. They have a few to choose from so you can try each one out but they make a world of difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The brightness level can be turned down to a low setting or increased to an ideal and comfortable level.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you type in "asus vg248qe color profile", your first result should be a reddit post on how to change settings. It recommends setting brightness at 35, down from 85 default. Seems crazy low, but after following the reddit suggestions, it's pretty much dead on calibrated.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It CAN go very bright, i currently have it set at 90. You can turn it down enough to where it wont bother you at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can adjust it to lower the brightness. It has different screen modes RGB, standard, theater, game, night view and scenery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The color is adjustable. The lower settings are not blinding even to sensitive eyes
