I own this model and it is 1920x1080. I couldn’t tell you if Best Buy has the exclusive on this or not. If you are torn between the two versions, consider the graphics card you are using. You would need a sophisticated system to handle the 2560x1440. Anything higher than 1920x1080 would be a waste on an entry level system. In this case bigger is not better and less is more. The quality will impress you and the lower price point is a bonus.
