Yes, the optical disc drive will work on the Dell PC. For the drive to work properly, please check the PC has the most current OS and chipset update.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If that is a desktop machine, it should be fine. All you need to do is install it, and it should work. It also comes with programs and drivers if you need them. Just open your PC, unscrew the two screws on your DVD drive, BE SURE you do NOT Drop the screws into your case. Unplug the drive and pull the old drive out. Put the new drive in the same way, screw it in, plug it in and you're all set! If need be, install the drivers.
