Can you burn DVD's from video files with this? null

yes it can, I was able using linux mint k3b software to burn iso to blank dvd+r.

I have not tried to do this specific action since I recently received my computer with this DVD reader and writer installed. However I know it does write DVDs perfectly well, and if you have software that formats video files for burning onto a DVD, then there is no reason for it not to work just fine.
