• i'm not about to test it but i would assume like a regular cd/dvd rom drive they are meant to be horizontally mounted with pressure going down for stability. maybe contact maker and they can better answer this question.

• It probably will, however I have never mounted a drive vertically, and I am not sure just how secure the disc would be in that position. I suppose you would have to be careful when inserting the disc so that it does not fall out or not sit correctly in the tray. Good luck.
