- Answer Yes, the wireless network card will work, to replace the modem card, if the desktop PC has a PCIe slot that meets the system requirement of the wireless network card.

- Answer As long as your motherboard supports it, I would think so. The motherboard must have support for a network card slot. Check your motherboard to see if it has a slot available.

- Answer It just letting your pc connect to WiFi so I don’t see why your headset or mouse would need to connect to WiFi
