It's not as rugged as the ASUS CX3402 but it is Military Grade MIL-STD 810H. The keyboard is spill-resistant and can cope with up to 60 cc of liquids without harm, so minor spillages can be easily drained, cleaned and dried. The lid is metal and the body of the Chromebook is comprised of rugged plastic.
