mother board is f2a55-m/m11bb/DP_MB, good luck finding specs on it. the chipset is A55 FCH. 1866 is the limit of ram frequency (ddr3) and 16 gigs is all I can confirm it can be expanded too. 12 gigs listed on some specs is flat out wrong or maybe the limit on an older bios (current looks to be v 0403) The motherboard isn't sold by itself, it seems. Look close and you'll find some places that seem like it's missing components. (ie Pci/Pci-e slot, 2 sata ports, whatever goes above the GPU Boost text near the top, etc.) I think you'll find disappointment when looking to upgrade. Save and build a solid MB/CPU with a decent power supply and case with space to expand, is my advice. This PC has less options to expand than I'd have ever imagined or have had on past machines. It looks like 8-10 months of use of mine is all it's going to get. Current games find it lacking and GPU's worth adding in reguire more power. Mine is pushing the 12v rail of this 300w psu even though my card requires 400w with 20 amps to the 12v rail. Feels like a craps shoot with every day of hard gaming. Good luck
