No. Chromebooks are essentially netbooks, they do not have optical drives and ChromeOS is not set up to handle CD/DVD drives. It does have a MicroSD drive and USB ports that you can use with thumb drives. Please note that Chromebooks are mostly utilized with online cloud services so it is preferable to use them with an internet connection. You can stream video and music when connected to the internet via WiFi.

Chromebooks never have CD players.
