This one works great! My son loves it. Better, brighter screen then my others son's $400 Dell Chromebook. Touch screen works great! Only downfall is that some apps don't work well even though it advertises they will. Clash of Clans and Instagram apps don't work well. Don't bother downloading Facebook app, it sucks. Just use the browser and open Facebook in there and bookmark it. Other than that, it's a great little working machine. If only they made protective clip on cover/cases for it! It's a little slippery when carrying it, especially with the rounded edges and shows lots of fingerprints. Definitely buy a soft carrying case for it.

Perfect Tool For What I Want To Do

As an attorney, I find it extremely useful to have a small, fast, and reliable computer on which to work when I have a moment of time, even when on the run. I also enjoy being able to grab the chromebook to write or take notes, even quickly Google something, without the usual boot-up time of a full computer. The flip-around tablet option has been more useful than I anticipated. I really enjoy everything this chromebook has to offer, and have found very little lacking.

The keyboard is a little cramped and sometimes this causes the touchpad/cursor to jump around a bit, but I knew this when I bought a 10.3 inch screen. I wanted something light and small, so that is the trade off I made. The touch screen is handy and works well. The metal exterior is sleek and makes this look like it's much nicer/more expensive that it actually was. I like the styling.

Q: QuestionWill thus be somewhat compatible with apple products? Ipad, iPhone? If not, what should i be looking for simple for backing up these devices, and ideally have the ability to send receive and save documents, PDFs etc Between devices.

- A:Answer I got my wife this Chromebook for Christmas after months of researching it. We both have iPhones and a very old MacBook that is on its last leg. We aren't in the budget for another MacBook anytime soon, but after having this little ASUS Flip for a few weeks, I don't know that we'll ever get another expensive computer. We love it, and I'm probably gonna get one for myself. You need to have a Gmail account in order to be able to use this, or any Chromebook. If email, internet, and occasional office suite documents/projects is all you do, this may be the product for you. You will not be able to back up your Apple devices to a Chromebook, so if you don't have a primary computer that you can back up to, I would recommend increasing your iCould storage and backing up to the cloud. But to your other question about sending and receiving documents/PDFs between devices... no problem. Google Docs handles just about anything you might have done in Word... but with Android Apps on the Chromebook, you can even download the Microsoft Suite apps for Word, Xcel, etc. There's also another great app called Pushbullet that you can install on your iPhone and your Chromebook and send/receive files across platforms that way. We use it all the time. This is a great device. It's built well. It's blazing fast. It just works. If you get one, pay the extra $30-$50 for the 4gb version, you won't regret it. Hope this helps.

- A:Answer Yes and no. If your school uses Google Docs then you won't have an issue. If you need straight Microsoft Office then not so much. You have the option of both, but one thing to keep in mind is that any Microsoft Office package is exclusive to Macos and Windows. These devices have the Google Play Store so you can download the Android version of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Onenote. You can also use the web version via the Microsoft website. Hope this information helps!

- A:Answer If your wireless printer supports Google Could Print, then it'll work with a Chromebook. Google have a list of "Cloud Ready" printers, so you can see if your printer is listed here: https://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/printers.html. If you don't have a cloud ready printer, but you do have an old computer (which has the Chrome browser on it) that you don't mind leaving switched on and connected to the printer, you can also print through your old computer to the printer by setting it up as a "Classic Printer" - see explanation of how to do that here: https://support.google.com/cloudprint/answer/1686197?hl=en.
