Unsure on ram slots but I know that people have asked about i7 before on here and users have confirmed that they have switched it themselves. I am optimistic that the board would have at least 4 slots.... hopefully.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I replaced the i5 with an I7 chip because I wanted the increased logical processors you get in I7. It works great. The model is below and it was to match up with Chipset and Socket. The current Chipset support is Intel H110 (Skylake) and Socket is LGA1151. Intel Core i7-6700 3.4 GHZ, 8 MB Cache, LGA1151 The board has only two slots regrettably so you cannot add additional ones without replacing both which would be costly at least for me since processor upgrade. Waiting to see if prices go lower before increasing to 32 GB of RAM.
