Can the graphics card be upgraded to a GTX 1080? null

Absolutely yes. Asus website lists NVIDIA® GeForce GTX1080 8GB GDDR5X as one of the cards that is available on the G11CD with this H110 chipset. That said, only one videocard is supported due to limitations with the # of PCIE slots & lanes supported by that chipset.
