A:AnswerGiven that it is an i7 it's pretty fast. Compared to other i7s in the same gen it's in the lower middle speed wise but this CPU is mostly about power saving while still maintaining speed. Its not as powerful as the i7-6700HQ which I have seen on some gaming laptops here but it will save energy and still have good speed.
A:AnswerI have done a lot of searching for this answer. For sure the K501UX-AH71 model comes with an empty SATA drive slot (I have seen a picture). In this case, we are looking at the K501UX-WH74 model (I'm sure they are similar) which I can't visually confirm that feature. The only thing I found is a review on newegg by a verified owner that said there IS and extra slot. I personly am gonna assume it does have one.
