I have done a lot of searching for this answer. For sure the K501UX-AH71 model comes with an empty SATA drive slot (I have seen a picture). In this case, we are looking at the K501UX-WH74 model (I'm sure they are similar) which I can't visually confirm that feature. The only thing I found is a review on newegg by a verified owner that said there IS and extra slot. I personly am gonna assume it does have one.
