“N or AC how much does it matter? I'm trying to decide if I should spend the extra money on the AC routers that are backwards compatible. I'm replacing a G router and am worried in less than a couple years I'll need a new router if I buy the N. My Belkin 54g is just now needing to be replaced and its more than 6 years old. I'm just wanting this new router to be useful for at least that long.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no advantage to an ac router unless you buy the corresponding ac adaptor for every device you want to connect, or you plan on replacing your connecting equipment with new ones equipped with ac wireless.
