I do not know what kind of modems are available from Centurylink, but please make sure you update your modem's software if that is possible. Some companies provide firmware updates for their modems that you should want to look into. If you have any problems with your router please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. Thank you. Regards, Jeremy ASUS Customer Loyalty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The modem does not matter. Just get the one that gives you the fastest Internet. This router can connect to all your devices and transfer the data back and forth faster than any home Internet connection available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go with the modem that centurylink provided. This router can manage those connections well. Use the QoS settings to closer manage your items that need priority routing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usually the ISP provides you with a modem, but if you're getting one on your own, I recommend a Motorola. We've had a motorola from Comcast for 6 years with no problems. BEWARE that there are modems out there that can or cannot handle gigabit speeds.
