How well does the built-in fingerprint reader work? null

It works really well. I bought this about 4 weeks ago and I haven't had to type my password not even once the fingerprint reader has worked every single time for me on the first try and you don't need to apply much pressure either.

The finger print reader is very convenient and works relatively well most of the time. My only concern is when I have my finger in the wrong position/location and it doesn't seem to read my print correctly. If I repeat this position accidentally for too many times, it locks me out of my account and I have to manually input my microsoft account password to get back in, which is somewhat inconvenient after the fact. Otherwise it works great.

A little bit too well, scarily. Make sure to get all the parts of your finger scanned or else you'll find yourself trying to find the sweet spot you used the first time.

I guess it depends. With mine, I've set it up three different times (set-up says it recognizes my print) and it has yet to read my fingerprint to turn on the computer once

It is hit and miss sometimes it works and other times it don't.
