“Having problems with touch screen, touch pad not working after flipping into tablet and then back to laptop mode, brand new just bought it. Have no way to use unless USB mouse is used; why is this happening? fixes?”

i had this problem too. could be one or two things. 1. new computer needs updates installed. run update and restart. 2. the device has an error, go into device manager, look for microsoft input configuration device (it may be hidden) and update driver software. i ended up uninstalling the device and did a restart and it auto reinstalled and has worked fine since.
