I used this laptop to edit Photoshop images while rendering a video with Adobe Premiere which is CPU and memory hungry. I purposely rendered a video, played music with Windows Media, had Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Dreamweaver, the Internet, and Outlook open. Windows Media playback refreshed a couple of time but I expected that as my desktop would do the same. It can handle it...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have done a bit of Photoshop work with it, and it's been good. Although the screen is nice and clear, for best results I would use and external monitor. 15" screens are just not large enough for most editing jobs. You could spend 2.5 times as much for a MacBook, but it seriously would be wasting money. And I like Macbooks. They are just under powered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use Adobe products regularly for my business. My previous laptop would get so slow when I tried to run one of these programs, and almost froze up when I opened two. But this baby handles 3 at once. I was working between Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign at the same time the other day and had no problems or hang ups at all. I'm not sure if this made a big difference or not, but I set it so those programs will use the NVIDIA graphics card by default instead of the integrated graphics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With a good SSD I don't think it would be too bad. You can check the Nvidia website to check the specs of the 940m in regards to video editing to make sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used inventor 2016 no problem . It has the i7-6700hq, which is an extremely fast processor. It was able to handle anything I threw at it and the fans didn't even kick up. This laptop is tuned for gaming, but it can easily be used as a workstation.
