Are u able to ad an ssd null

The Geek Squad in Atlanta told me on July 9, 2016 they will install a SATA SSD if you purchased it at BestBuy and charges $39 for hardware installation.

It's a little tougher to get to the hd on this one. You have to remove the entire bottom of the laptop. The salesman told me it WAS possible though and said if you buy a SSD at Bestbuy they install it for free. I should mention that the 2TB is actually pretty fast, the sales guy said it was a "hybrid" hard drive.

But does it has the slot or not ?

Yes, I cloned the existing HD onto a 240 GB Samsung SSD and installed it. Make sure you have the right tools to get the back off as it needs to be pried off, it is a tight fit.

See Asus answer below...no SSD with this model. 'Hybrid' may indicate the slot is used already.

I can't vouch for the accessibility of adding a SSD, but the rpms listed for the HDD are at 5400, about the slowest you can get (standard for most regular HDD). I would consider 7200 rpm to be a "fast" non-SSD.
