A:AnswerNo GPU is soldered to the board and to remove all of the pins to reinstall another would be problematic in the future. Asus board for this computer is a very low quality build and you would not want to mess with is as many of the items on the board is cheaply glued.
A:AnswerI bought this laptop with the soul purpose of light gaming and college. I can tell you this, it is a fantastic LIGHT gaming computer. I play small graphic games such as gmod, block N Load and the bit more graphic requiring game No Mans Sky. I have no problem what so ever with the small games, but I keep the bigger games on Medium to Low quality. If you are dishing out the money on your son for the purpose of gaming, you will have better luck with Alienware Laptops. They are built and designed for gaming. You can find a wide variety of this brand for this price. If he is okay with light gaming and you need him to use the laptop for schoolwork as well, this is a fantastic laptop. Otherwise look for a laptop or even desktop designed for gaming.
A:AnswerMedial player was installed but M$ wanted to force people to their newer, less capable player. You should be able to access media player, click the start button and type "media". Then create a shortcut. Do yourself a favor and do not install itunes on your computer. Ever.
A:AnswerYes, it does. I personally use the Aorus Gaming Box 1070 and it works fantastically, benchmarks pretty close to desktops with the 1070, so there is little performance drop (provided you use a separate monitor).
