Yes the model is suitable to for your major and it can run both software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m currently doing my masters in Biomedical and I run heavy MatLab loads on it. MatLab however, is really not that resource hungry unless your code is poorly optimized or you’re running crazy simulations. Solidworks is also very easy to run. It worked perfect in my old laptop that had a 660M. So yes, this laptop can definitely run both of these.
